Well not the Technical answer to the problem but i appreciate your reply of course , Seems to be a Chipset problem as the B40/A118 Cam also has similar reports on the Forum so the Manufacturers should be taking notice to address and resolve this problem. Like many others i'll soon be payed out...

Agree about the I/O recognition due to it being almost instantaneous at Power Up however not being a problem on other HD Cams there should be a solution to resolve it on this very popular Cam (F/Ware ~ S/Ware Update) surely.

Not to familiar with CB Radios but using FM as opposed to SSB would be less likely a problem RF wise - some CBs in the UK had both ( it was illegal though ).

Like most cheap electronics today theres virtually no RF screening incorporated within our devices hence the problems you are experiencing at close proximity - I believe the transmissions are in the UHF band with a fixed antenna, using a external antenna would no doubt resolve your problem but...

Yes i'm sure that is the case. strange name for locked files though !! I haven't set the sensitivity from default so i'll check and set it lower.

Thinking about that journey maybe i stopped for fuel ~ can't recall though. Assume a locked file would be named as such but the said files were not different from the others ~ agreed it made the clips confusing going from the Standard Folder to the ABCD Folder !!

Thanks for reply i was thinking it was just me as nobody else had mentioned it, bit strange though as there was a couple of clips from a 12 mile continuous trip in there so assumed must be Locked Files or something !!

Just lately i've noticed a Folder labled ABCD on my Memory Card which contains some video clips, I haven't seen anyone commenting about this Folder name but i assume these to be Locked Files. Can anyone confirm.

G1W is a great cam but would also like the option for the screen saver minimum to be less than 3 minutes. probably abt 1 minute - hopefully future upgrade if possible.
