Ambarella A12 cam on the road!

Pardon me if this is old news. Have been out of the scene for a while after I've got my mini 0805 working thus far. Getting some disk and LCD issues lately and thought may be there will be some 'better' cam models after these few months.

Saw some review posts in a Taiwan website and a model being sold in China. Anyone got more news on this 'latest' development?

Looking at the Ambarella website, it does list the A9 and A12 SoC. However, my knowledge on Ambarella stopped at the A7 series.

only challenge with the new chipsets is it takes some time for the SDK to mature, the A7 has been around a few years and hasn't really been stable for all that long

The Dome D201 features an A12 chipset, bitrate is still a little low, but it's a decent camera.
