G1W-x not turning on w/ vehicle

I just installed my G1W-X and it wont start with my vehicle, the outlet has power all the time. when I do start it manually it will run fine but wont shut off when i shut off my vehicle, it ran all day today.

Okay. Thanks for the quick reply! So will the parking mode and motion mode still work then?

that doesn't work properly on this model anyway, better just to use it as switched source camera for when you're driving

I know I am a little late on this, but you can also run it into a socket splitter with its own switch if you don't want to hardwire it in. It is a lot easier to flip the switch though then fight with a camera behind a rearview mirror.

I used to run this one from walmart since I had an aftermarket back up camera and tried different DashCams. (I also already had a CB Radio hardwired in already before hand)
