In case anyone needs it, I have obtained the latest firmware for Auto-Vox A118C camera.
I guess some people might have an old firmware so I give the new one here.
It's a pretty good camera, I understand it might be a clone but it works fine.
It can be purchased here :

Hi,

At my workplace we have a food store where people can buy snacks and drinks.
The inventory is held by a computer system and we regularly have a mismatch between what's in stock and what the computer think there is.

So there is some theft.

I needed a quick way to see what's going on...

...so I setup my AUTO-VOX A118C dashcam in motion detection mode, put it at the top of a shelf in a cardboard box with a small hole for the lens, and voila, 5-min DIY security camera with motion...

I was going to purchase the SG variant of this recently released, but I had to get a dashcam for the misses too and I figured I could live with the lesser video quality (Also dont need GPS).

That being said, I purchased 2 AUTO-VOX B40-C from amazon (AUTO-VOX retailer). Anything iIshould know about this particular "brand". Will it take the firmware listed here for the gearbest sold ones?

Also any mods I should do right off the top? Remove cloth dust shield for ventilation etc?

Thanks,
