In "version" in settings it said 96655/SJ7000 and I tried to put some new firmware on it.
When I was tried to update my cam it never worked until I renamed the .bin file to gp_cardvr_upgrade.bin - THEN IT WORKED!
But just once...it finished updating and I never saw my camera screen again. Now - I only see small blue led light and...

I just bought my first SJCAM, model SJ5000. I can't anywhere find the information how many hours recording I can store on a single 16 or 32 Gb card, in all four rcording modes:
- Full HD: 1920*1080P 30 fps
- 720P: 1280*720P 60 fps
- 720P: 1280*720P 30 fps
- 480P: 640*480P 60/fps

Or, can someone provide an information how many hours per a single gb in each one of these? SanDisk for instance provides a table "Number of hours of Hi-Def Video that can be stored on a SanDisk memory...

SJCAM does NOT honor any kind of "warranty" if you do not purchase directly from their website - anywhere else you buy it, you are SOL - if there is a product malfunction, you get a big fat nothing. SJCAM suggested that I ship the camera to China at my cost, get it repaired by them at my cost, and expect this process to take ~30 days - NOT acceptable IMO, and not how you do business when you are selling products in the USA.

Happens intermittently throughout the video - everything is securely mounted - especially prominent at the end. Have not purchased an issue-free camera from this manufacturer - seriously.

Could it be one of the settings I have turned on? Wifi is off, as is Gyro, but WDR is on, etc.

I'm on holiday and thought I was being clever by installing, what I thought, was new firmware. I could only find firmware for 5000x elite and just assumed it was the same camera. The moment I turned my phone on, the screen just stayed black, completely dead to the world. What do I do?

Do they have any connection? http://www.sjcam.com/en/ says Viofo was the distributor for SJCam. GitUp used to be the marketing team for SJCam and I recall GitUp and Viofo is the same company but GitUp focus on action cam while Viofo is for dashcam?

It's like all dashcam is from a factory but with different label.
