Just letting everyone know to head on over to ThiEYE support website in which there is a new firmware updated Feb 28, 2017. Fixes the "resetted settings everytime you turn the camera back on" bug plus some typo fixing and other bug fixes.

Also worth mentioning that the instructional PDF doesn't cover how to install the drivers so that your PC sees the camera - i.e. driver signing etc if required.

hey, ive ordered from gearbest a thieye t5e action camera.
after a bit of filming i started to notice that the middle of the camera (front and back) is getting really hot.
after about 5 min of filming the quality of the image drops significtaly.
the video is the same quality as well.
does anyone else have this problem?
how can i fix it?

According to a utube video review by a popular DCT member the An 7000 native 4k action cam is identical to the Thieye t5e.
Also the Andoer fw has more menu slections than Thieye, so who's the manufacturer?

I can't download pics from the app when I connect my phone to the camera. It says downloading but when I go to check in my gallery it appears nothing. Someone with the same problem or suggestions? Thanks!

Hi! I had just placed an order for a T5e, just couldn't resist the many good results and the many good things everybody said about this handsome little cam.

I was wondering, is the Dual Battery Charger by ThiEye compatible with T5e batteries? Has anybody bought and tried them? Reason is very simple, I don't think it's a good idea charging with the battery inside the cam body for few simple reasons:

1. charging will make the battery goes warm, and this heat will spread inside the cam body,...

I’ve just received my own copy of T5e. Unfortunately its video seems having a big problem! Artifacts appear in the video even with the slightest movement of camera. The artifacts appear as parallel lines in the video (flickering). I do not know how to explain it by it seems that the frames refresh rate is out of sync . Full product overview, unboxing, menu walkthrough with settings explained, Android APP test and usage.

Some test footage taken with the ThiEYE T5e. The video from YouTube is 4K@60fps so nothing gets downscaled or converted to a lower frame rate. Regardless of the chosen playback resolution the quality is better than a regular direct upload.

Hi people, I could update my t5e with the last firmware, my t5e has a microphone port, by now all is OK.
But I'm scuba diving and I have done test with the Water white balance and the colours of the scene are similar to the automatic balance.

Anybody konws the "water" white balance function?

Hi, I did battery life testing letting it burn until the end, it lasted a little over an hour at 1080p 60 fps, but my surprise was when I went to the gallery and watched several videos of about 20 minutes. I wonder if this is normal?

I recently bought ThiEYE T5e and I think it's great camera but... one thing I've missed it's "medium' and "narrow" views to disable fisheye effect.
I found there is exactly the same camera Andoer C5 Pro as T5e and have FOV (Field of view - where You can change the field of view from 170° to 140° and 90°) option implemented in settings so I'ts could be done by ThiEYE support team.

Maybe someone have an influence on ThiEYE support team to implement this option in T5e camera .
