This happens more often to small movements, like shaking from holding the camera, but also when moving the camera slowly to pan or tilt.
I have tried various resolution/iso/etc. combinations, and different firmware versions, but nothing solved the problem.

Is it a known issue? Do I have a faulty camera? Is it...

This should be a very easy update, one that many other cinematographers would like to see as well.

Unfortunately camera has fallen and screen has crashed.
After screen has crashed controls in the left side are not working and I can't to turn on wi-fi and to open settings. Maybe you can suggest different way how can I turn on option in settings "rotate screen" or Wi-Fi through usb. If I turn on this option then I can change all settings.
I'm sure that camera has development mode to do some operations.

My request, after a long usage, is to add a "safety operation mode" or a "lock feature mode".
In other words, the possibility:
1) to lock the Xiaomi to just one mode. For example: your used to shoot video only? Then you can lock your Xiaomi to stay in "video mode" .
OR the possibility:
2) To lock unwanted modes. For example: you are not interested in "time lapse"? Then should be possible...
