Hi,

I have tried to connect an external power to xiaomi yi which was +5v. I also used extension cables to extend sensor boards. It worked but after a few times it broke. I bricked it back and now it is working. It looks like it was a firmware issue. However, now the sensor boar behind the lens is getting too hot in a few second (I cannot touch it after 30 second). I can record videos but the quality is gone and it gives me low quality picture.
Any idea about that?

When plugging the Yi camera into USB, does it automatically go into USB mode, or do you have to press any buttons to get into that mode? Also, when unplugging it from USB does it stay on, or turn itself off?

Edit: Oh, nevermind, just discovered the Yi doesn't actually have a display on it. No longer interested.

The probem is that my camera doensn't pairing with the Bluetooth controller.

Anyone know if it's possible to Genlock Multiple Yi Cameras?

People have been able to do this with GoPro's via the HeroBus, but the Yi Camera's do not have this interface.

Anyone know if it's something that can be set via the Linux Telnet client passing information to the RealTimeOS (RTOS)?

I bought a new camera few days ago.but after connecting it to the app.there the model is Z22.but backside of the camera it is z25L.So i am really confused which is the real model.My current firmware is 1.3.0.

Btw it also shows 0% charge after fully charging the bettary and if i start the camera than bettary indicator always show red light when it is fully charge.

Hope someone can help me whith this.

I creating this new thread, because in the other one it's becoming a little messy doing a firmware for everyone. I'll try to keep it up to date.
In here you'll find only two type of firmware, because are the same for different build of camera.
You can check md5 on your own to be sure about that.

Both of firmware are customized to get 35Mbps for every resolution in High Quality mode.
Medium and low quality are untouched.

Today I was about to use my camera then on the app it said "firmware update" so I updated it then my camera started beeping and beeping so I took the battery out and put it back in and only two little red lights are on and I can't get it to work. This is my first post here asking for some help about exposure stepping. I have been screwing around with the Yi cam to get the perfect video for my FPV using script which was genereated by xyc.sh script. The exposure stepping is terrible in my video. Youtube video link attached. Is there any other setting to correct or at least minimize this unwanted effect? I suspect that YiTune (flat movie) mode make the exposure stepping obvious. Just wanted to share my findings. By disassembling and analyzing the firmware I was lucky and found the bit that controls the resolution.

I made two scripts for 1.0.9 and 1.0.12. Upload the attached file for your firmware version to the root of the SD card and rename it to autoexec.ash.
Should work for all HW revisions.

Use at your own risk.
