Issue 1:
When I start the engine I see that the date on the camera is 2050 and the time is not intentional
When I remove the camera cable from the lighter I see I do not have battery and after a few seconds the camera goes out.
Issue 2:
I can not connect to the camera in Wifi through the app. It does not recognize the cameras

2. Open & edit SN.txt & AAA222CCC.txt take the serial number from the unit only 14 digits start from the left and change word CN to US and save it.

Connect to UART port on mainboard. Remember to connect GND too.

If you're using arduino as adapter then short RESET to GND for bypass uC and connect RX -> UART RX, TX -> UART TX. If USB UART adapter then connect RX -> UART TX, TX -> UART RX.

Chinese arduino with CH340T and etc. (not atmega8 programmer) probably won't work as adapter.

It was bought as 60 fps, but unfortunatelly it is a "short" version with 30 fps.
And there were different serial numbers on camera and on the box. This was solved.
I decided to change сhinese firmware to english..and it stop working.
When you turn it on, there is only pink display with letter and something in сhinese. I tried almoust everything to make it alive, but now it is a "pink brick".

Please do not take the risk of converting your camera from Chinese to English firmware, especially if you have a black colored (action/power) version of the camera. It's sad to see so many new posters asking for help on unbricking their new purchase.

Even if you successfully convert your camera, the only benefit is an English menu. With the original Chinese firmware, you can control all camera settings through the...

I bought a Xiaomi Yi DashCam - Black - 130° - 30fps - Chinese version

I didn't know before that there was different version of it and went straight to changing it to the US version.

When I reached the engmode screen I wasn't able to pick any option. I closed everything and the next day I tried to open it. I got the Pink Screen.



I tried to format the SDCard, add the SN.txt file with US version, CN version. Nothing.
I tried to reformat the SDCard and...
