Need help with my new mini 805

I go in the settings I set it to record the date and time when I review it on my iPad it doesn't show up ! any suggestions ..? Also what's the best setting for the resolution ?? One last question why is it , that it sometimes records for 20 seconds or 30 seconds and then five minutes and five minutes and then another 20 seconds

Sounds odd - did you check the footage on RV?
