Mini USB A or B

I just purchased a GT680W and hooked it up. I lost the manual, but it was not useful, except for comedy value (Apparently a menu setting is there so I can decide if I want to hear a beef or not.)

I've tried messing around with the settings, but realized I can't get any to stick once the power goes off. I figure the tiny battery is to blame, so I'd like to get a cable or adapter to power it inside the house to charge it, and also play with the menu settings and learn the camera. I have a multi-adapter but none fit. What would be the correct adapter to get, USB A to Mini USB B, or A, or is it something else entirely?

Monoprice is an excellent place to buy high quality USB cables for less than you'll find them elsewhere. I use 10 and 15 foot versions of their USB-A to 5 pin mini-B cables to run the dash cams in my vehicle,
