Low light test:
Xiaomi Youpin Seabird 4K vs Xiaomi yi action camera(first generation)

Stabilization test and low light test:
Gitup F1 vs Xiaomi Youpin Seabird 4K vs Viofo A119 v3 vs SJCam SJ8 PRO

Hope people with at least 2 of the cameras above can do a comparison and upload to youtube.

The Seabird cam will be the worst in both tests...

And the Viofo A119 V3 will win for dashcam use, for a road movie I would go for the Gitup F1, or Gitup F1C, and the SJCam SJ8 PRO will melt - it is not suitable as a dashcam!

Hi, hope you mean the latter one(stabilization test and low light test), it would be weird if it doesn't beat the Xiaomi yi action camera(first generation).

Do you know why the seabird is so unpopular unlike the Xiaomi yi action camera(first generation) when it first came out?

Might help if you explain how you will use them.

The Viofo A119 V3 does not have any stabilisation, but does have a solid mount, so if mounted on a car windscreen will be perfectly stable while the SJ8 which does have a stabiliser but has a less steady mount will probably have worse stabilisation, unless you are driving offroad. But currently we don't know if you will even be mounting them in a vehicle.

Hi, yes I know A119 lacks stabilization feature.
Want to use them for various purposes such as filming UAV at night.

-Those that lacks a screen takes too much time to set up(turn on wifi, connect to app...).
-Can the the gitup f1's dynamic range be improved?

F1's dynamic range is pretty good, but the night time sensitivity is not so great, for video anyway, the long exposure photos are decent.
The F1 screen is info only, no image, so you still need the wifi app.

Viofo A129 would be a possibility, has screen plus wifi, and a more sensitive sensor than the A119 V3, although there is less resolution plus a wider field of view, and they both record video with approximately the same brightness in the dark. A129 Pro has more resolution, same as F1, and seems to do a decent job at night even without the most sensitive sensor, appears to give a better dark image than the F1 while having a 2" screen showing the image.
