G90 sound issues

Mic is very sensitive so it feels like you are holding the mic outside the window and the air is coming in.
Bad when moving.

Use quicktime or potplayer to play.
Exactly! But how to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone? Firmware or something else?
Quicktime and PotPlayer better reproduce the video, but all the same the problem remains.

ive the g90 a70 version and the mic is all but useless. I use it in the back and works just fine, but the mic pickup is sorely lacking. I do believe the results I am seeing are in line with the last few comments here...

Hi everyone!
Used firmware http://www.joovuu.com/firmware/firmware.bin, firmware for the G90 processor A7LA70. I can say that the problem with the sound disappeared, but there was another problem: the receptionist was hanging out every 15-20 minutes. Helps only restart. Went back again to firmware 441.

In using that same firmware and audio distorts on the unit. No issue with video. Perhaps QC issues with the physical mic in the unit I use....

I'm playing the files raw using k-lite mega and the audio is atrocious. The auto gain circuitry is much too sensitive and causes breathing/pumping which is not acceptable in my opinion

nor on my dashcam: high pitch sound and a lot of noise.

On RegistratorViewer 5.9.0.0 the sound is present. I use Windows 7 Pro x64 + K-Lite Codec Pack 10.2.0 (new version at http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_full.htm )
I certainly understand that the use of different tools and media players can improve the situation, but in general, the problem remains. You can discuss how long the player gives the best sound, but is likely to solve all the new firmware - which is not yet released for G90 processor A7LA30

the early A7LA30 versions had a hardware problem, they could improve it a little with firmware but couldn't fix the audio quality

the updated hardware is reported to be a lot better

It is refreshing compared to the likes of DOD who just seem to have the same problem like I found out the hard way!

I kinda think that they could do more, because after testing a7la50 FW sound was ok, with same hardware...

Is that the A7LA30 or the A7LA70 version?

A7LA30
I do not like the sound,
There is a firmware so the sound is good?

The sound is best with the firmware from the r551MP but that is for the A7LA50 camera and crashes on the A7LA30 after a while.

Hopefully a new firmware will come out for the A7LA30 version from @Fandy or @Doreen

This is the newest firmware (r441mp) we have from Dome for the A7LA30 version so far and is better sound:
