Disassembly FineVu-CR500HD (pictures)

That is very good, thank you. So my question is, what is the absolute finest camera that strictly uses capacitors?

you're going to be looking at something Korean or Taiwanese designed, iTronics, Vico, Panorama etc, they all have their strengths and weaknesses, screen, no screen, mounting style etc so which is right for you I can't say, if you short list the models that might suit your needs I'm sure you can get plenty of feedback from the users here though

Are you aware if the ones that possess the screen have an option to keep the screen turned off all the time?

Thank you very much for all your time and advice. It looks like Vico's top model is absolutely breathtaking. It even has built-in wifi, and an app for your smart-phone! That's nuts!

Hi, I just thought of one last option. What would happen if I just plugged a universal external USB battery to the CR-500HD cameras I have? Wouldn't that resolve the internal battery failure problems?

Just curious, the links to the pictures are broken!? Are these the same pictures shown in here?

Regards

My battery lasted about 10 months. I used the pictures here to disassemble my camera.
It was not that difficult to do. Having some text to go along with the pictures would go
a long way to help others.

The internal battery had started to balloon. The camera would screw up the SD card after
a while then lock up the camera. A reformat of the SD card would get the camera working
again until the SD card was hosed again.

I am looking at soldering some wires onto the PCB and bring them outside where I will
mount an 18650 2400 mAh battery to the case. I will also put some black heat-shrink
tubing around the battery to camoflage it somewhat.
