That is on my to do list. Which camera is that as quality looks really good! I bought a Yi Nightscape dashcam as well as it was a capacitor instead of battery, so far quite impressed but not done a drive to see what footage is like. £50 from Maplin so a bargain too :)

Any suggestions on a camera that's designed to be run 24/7 but still has a reasonable recording time? I think I get about 11 hours out of mine currently which is fine as it covers a large enough time frame if something happened overnight? While parking mode sounds good if it doesn't capture...

Why? Why can't a camera be plugged in 24/7 and last longer than 18m? I need 24/7 recording because my car has been hit in the middle of the night before. SD card was fine but replaced it as suggested anyway to rule that out.

Hello, I've had my camera since Feb 2020 so out of the 12 months warranty unfortunately. The issue I'm having is the camera will at random intervals turn off. No response, no recording etc and only way to make it work is to pull out charger and put it back in - it's left plugged in on a live...

What's the disadvantages to using say a gopro, attaching it behind your grill and using a massive sd card with power from hard wire? You obviously won't have the gps but surely the camera quality would be better than the same priced dash cam. Am I missing something?

Sounds like you've taken on board absolutely everything that's been wrong with every other camera! Any idea how long before ready? Also an idea on price range?

Can you allow maximum card size? 128gb? This would make it massively more appealing IMO. I'd like to record whilst I'm asleep but would need a fair size memory card for this

I really can't find what I'm looking for so I must be blind :) I can't find the bitrate (is that what it's called?) To work out how long it will record for on a 32gb card. I assume 10 hours?
