Just installed the camera, and I'm having real difficulties inserting and removing my SanDisk Extreme Plus 128GB card. I can push it in just fine, it just won't latch/unlatch until really pushing as hard as you can, almost like the slot is too recessed. This same card was in my other Viofo...

I couldn't agree more. My vehicle has a built-in dash cam which relies on an external USB drive for storage. Using a high quality USB adapter + high quality microSD card just wasn't good enough. Switching to SSD made a big difference. SSDs enclosures have come down in price significantly...

But I do need something which allows me to combine multiple feeds into 1 (shortened) video. There is free software on the market now, but since many 3 owners also have regular dash cams, I thought it would have been a great way to capture that additional potential revenue. I'll let it go now :)

The Tesla Model 3 cameras can record while driving (3 angles for now), just like other dash cams (example). It can also record video while parked.

You can find ODBII Y-splitters on Amazon. While they won't work in all scenarios, since this is just tapping power, it may work. Wish my car still had the OBDII port. This is a pretty cool solution for sure.

I'm seeing similar results (can't even read license plates from opposite traffic), but I didn't turn wifi off until yesterday since it hasn't been that useful to me (and didn't realize it shouldn't be left on). Will have to recheck myself now.

Couple of questions: Are there plans to allow connecting to an existing wifi network? If I can connect it to my home network, I can automate the copying of new locked files. Is there a way of connecting to wifi without having to disable mobile data?
