I stripped the cam and find no button battery that may keep the time so I guess it's dependent on the internal battery BL-05. Replaced this batt, reset and format the memory card and now it seems to be normal.
Hi, after using this cam for more than 2 years, the date timestamp always revert to year 2008.
There should be a button battery to run the cmos. Anyone opened the unit before ?
