    VIOFO A139 Pro - Firmware

Per https://viofo.com/content/75-A139-Pro-Support/#FAQs first check your SD card and as a test try the original charger cable. If you have another SD card try that one and see if it still beeps continuously. Also test without the back camera connected. Why is my camera beeping constantly...

    Please add cloud functionality

You can long-press the REC button and format the card: https://viofo.com/content/75-A139-Pro-Support/ That said, I'm not concerned that some LEO has been caught messing around with the dashcam footage. It seems very unlikely and in my case, my dashcam is to protect me against other drivers...

A139 Pro 2ch - App connectivity Issue IPhone

If you do the above but are still unable to connect to the iPhone's wifi setup, then forget the network config (press the i icon and then click Forget This Network) and try connecting again when it appears under Other Networks. You'll find if its wifi password is different from what you think...

    Very Blurry Image Quality

Make sure you have set recording set for highest quality: 4K 2160P 30fps and Bitrate=maximum. In VLC press the little camera icon in the bottom toolbar to snapshot the video frame at the maximum (actual) resolution. You will find the full resolution image file in your Pictures folder...

A139 pro is it as good as.........

I switched from my Blackvue DR-900S-1CH back in March to the A139 Pro 1CH and it's been good for me. There was a weird pixelated video problem at night with HDR, but their support site was very responsive and it turned out to be an early firmware issue. Since then I've had no issues and I've...

A139 Pro Test & Review PP

The difference is that your JPG picture is taken at a specific GPS location, at a specific point in time. Your dashcam video is recorded over a span of time and varying GPS locations. It would be inaccurate or deceptive to pick one instant of time and put that as the metadata for the entire...

A139 Pro Test & Review PP

You're trying hard to create a hack on the SD card and hope that their firmware will respect it. It's not a supported feature, so even if you seem to make it work I would be worried that some future firmware would inadvertently break what you're depending upon. Have you considered just buying...

Weird app behavior with 512GB card

The latest released firmware is V1.1_0615: https://viofo.com/content/75-A139-Pro-Support/#Firmware. If you haven't updated you might try that first. I don't recall seeing confirmation if the app bug fix was included in this latest release. If the latest FW doesn't work then if you want to...

HELP HELP VIOFO 139a jams my cell phone

Glad you fixed your Wi-Fi problem. I think the easiest way for you to get your dashcam videos would be to remove the memory card and then connect a card reader to your laptop/computer. It's also possible to use the phone app, connected via Wi-Fi to the dashcam, and download (copy) the video...

HELP HELP VIOFO 139a jams my cell phone

Your phone should not automatically connect via wifi to the dashcam - You only need to do it when you are downloading videos. Do you have an iPhone? Just go to Settings / Wi-Fi / press the "(i)" icon next to the dashcam wifi connection / Uncheck Auto-Join

The dreaded no recording... just happened to me

I've been fortunate and not seen any missed video recordings for my A139 Pro (only 1ch, no parking mode, leave wi-fi off, SanDisk 256GB Max Endurance card). Since the reports here I have been periodically spot checking, using the app, for any recording gaps but all my driving periods/days...

The dreaded no recording... just happened to me

You're probably right but it's still worth checking the card contents to be certain (while you wait for your new card). If it is just an app display bug then try the special firmware fix here. A "dashcam stops overwriting files" bug is a little less scary than "dashcam random stops recording"...

The dreaded no recording... just happened to me

What firmware version are you running? To verify - You checked the card and it is missing the video files, right (not just that the app doesn't display recent recordings)? And was your card full when it stopped recording?
