I ordered the ITB100HD SPW DVR from a local distributor and the item has arrived today. This will be my second Itronics DVR. I hope to fix-it-up with a power saver by tomorrow and do a simple review. :)

A black body looks more stealth than the silver version. The 'modern black' version is the one to go for IMHO.

I have not tried downgrading firmwares after upgrading. I do think this might be possible. Perhaps you can check with the seniors and experts here. The new v2.2 firmware update is working well for me... so far. I am hoping more users can get their DVR updated and share their findings.
