Well, contact Green-Sum. "Please contact us to discuss about the next steps." sounds like there is more than one option to proceed and your input is needed?
It says it will temporarily stop recording at 70*C. "Operating" probably means it's safe to have it plugged in and on up to 80*C.
I would assume the temp cutoff switch is probably electro-mechanical? and so it would have to be alive to be monitoring that.
1) they can verify and keep stats if there seems to be some consistent defect.
2) not everyone is so honest. They are selling 10's or 100's of thousand units and hundreds or thousands of returns/warranty. Not practical to do forensics and comparisons on video to verify it was not spoofed or...
Ahh, Yes, that would be nice. I forget about the GPS window since I don't use it but it is very annoying not to have the controls and file selection when in full screen.
Seconded! Selective on/off settings toggle for each bit of embedded info.
Hit <enter> to toggle full screen on and off. <space> to pause/play. I think there may be a couple other key shortcuts.
You can export the gps data from the "Information" tab. The problem is that 1 second is the finest granularity.
Actually not so good... my rotors need turned and I had street pads on. really bad judder so I was braking way early and going slow through the corners :(

I don't know much of anything about video files.
Used Allok Video Joiner to stitch together the 3 min Lukas .avi files and...
That does look a lot better. Again you have the sun coming from the left with a lot more reflections of your dash on the left.
I haven't followed other dash cams much but, in general, I would expect a good bit of quality control variation in devices like this at this price point. The main...
^^^ This. I think the garden hose analogy is Voltage is pressure. Current (Amps) is how much you draw. So the voltage has to match. The Amps are the capability of the power supply to supply current. Your device will be labeled/rated for the max or average amount of current it *draws*. A long as...
Best:
First of all it should be something that is used in (or in plan for) a dash cam application.
Then, Best daytime video (sure there are an infinite number of factors but it's pretty easy to look at a video and say "that one is better than that other one")
Then use low light capabilities as a...
I agree. One thing that will help is a polarizing filter -- you're getting a lot of reflection off the dash. But that is not likely to help with the softness/out of focus. The video and audio on this clip is from my 7900. Hoya polarizer and I think I had brightness 1 notch above the default...
Not necessarily. 12.7V could be the "start charging" voltage. They imply on pages 7 & 9 that the "stop charging" cut-off voltage can be set.
"User can directly adjust the input(cut-off) voltage. (11.6V~12.4V)". My guess would be that it will charge until the input voltage drops to the configured...
