I'm running a Mini 0805 in one of my cars and I am looking at getting an 0906. I was wondering if the 0906 will be able to use the existing 0805 GPS mount that is already in place? Would be great if I didn't have to run the wires again. Thanks in advance for any insight.

That is old and outdated information regarding California law. They changed that law quite some time ago. You *can* mount devices to your windshield (such as GPS or cams), but they must be within specified locations on the windshield (for obvious reasons). Google it and you will find the specifics.

Video has gone viral and made it on NBC news tonight. I drive this section of freeway a couple of times a month and it's just scary to think of this happening to someone there. Certainly there are things I might have done differently from this driver, but still... just wow...
