Impossible to destroy a rear cable that hasn't even been run through the interior. It's either poor qc on the cable or a hardware issue.

Same issue here -- coupled with the main unit becoming unresponsive whenever the rear camera is connected. Glad I bought this on Amazon

i may turn off motion detect as well. it seems like it could be fixed with a firmware update in the future, but right now it just records EVERYTHING at any setting

i dont think any of the current dash cams are going to be able to record a plate from a side swipe unless the car slows down or comes to a complete stop. this is an even bigger problem at night.

you're right about customs and warranty. i misread. although it is still a pain in the butt to send something to california, then wait for them to send it to korea, then waiting some more for it to arrive back in the US. i doubt they will have any way of checking the firmware if you load back...
