My K100 is running still also but did develop a nasty rattle that's loudly recorded and even audible sometimes when I'm driving. More annoying than anything and manufacturer did offer to repair it if I wanted to mail it back to them.

Mine did rattle especially after a day's exposure under the sun. Previously it was always in a sheltered car park so it wasn't a problem.

One thing that I noticed from Techmoan review is that this only works if you drive to the right side.

Meaning driver's seat is on the left unlike the UK/Europe as the actual rear view mirror would get in the way.
