LS300w skips recordings - help!!

Hi guys,

Just bought a new LS300W last week and installed a 16gb class 10 sd card.

Just went on a long drive over the last week and when I got back I noticed that the camera didn't record many of my trips or only part of them.

What annoyed me was there was an out of control 4WD coming from the opposite direction and I was keen to have a look at the footage, but for some reason, it didn't record.

The first recording from the trip has a file code of 107-0032 and has all the trip thereafter, but none of the earlier ones which I really wanted to see.

It also has random trips from previous days.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with my cam, sd card, or both?

Has been switched off from the start.

I picked up a Verbatim microSDHC card 16gb, class 10 card.

I know it's not the best out there (I was in a hurry before our trip) but I would have thought it would have been good enough.

Card should be ok, have you formatted the card in the camera?

As a starting point I'd suggest reset to factory defaults with a freshly formatted card and see how it behaves
