Ah, I'm sure. Here in Canada, the largest 3 carriers make sure not to drop the prices so they can maintain their high average monthly rate per customer:
Bell Canada - $61
Rogers- $59.70
Telus - $63.60

I'm sure providers outside of Canada are jealous of that type of average revenue and would love those kinds of numbers..
Anyways, if ever an english model comes out with LTE as a feature and takes sim cards, myself and others looking for piece of mind would buy it if there was a good data plan available.
