Hi all

I've had one of these cameras hanging off my windscreen for a little while now but I think the capacitor is dead.

The reason why I say this is the moment the power gets cut to the dash cam it would instantly switch off.

If I recall correctly it use to take a second or two before it's a blank screen but now it instantly goes black.

What does everyone else think? and is this something that anyone else has experienced?

What should I do here?

Thanks

Does it saves last file ?

it should go off in the blink of an eye, it's way less than a second

if the last file is not corrupt then there's likely no issue

It turns off instantly just check the last file was saved correctly.

If you want to take advantage of pre-buffered motion detection powered from your car battery after you turn the engine off, get the PANOBDP MotoPark battery discharge prevention hard wire kit.
