SOS: About GT680W Dashcam.

on June 24, 2015, I purchased a GT680W dash camera.But it will never keep the correct date. I have to input the correct date every morning before driving. How could this issue be solved?
 
It uses the battery to keep the time, if it's starting to fail you will lose the time after it has been off for a while
 
I've had mine charging indoors all night, and it will lose the time in the two minutes it takes to get it into the car and plugged in. The battery seems to have the capacity of a capacitor.

not quite but they are tiny and old enough that lots of these will start falling over as the batteries start expiring
