BULLETHD BIKER PRO - Installed on a 2001 (& 1983 Interstate) Honda Goldwing Motorcycle

Just got permission to post the following install photos.

A customer of ours, Phil just installed his BULLETHD BIKER PRO on his 2001 Goldwing Honda motorcycle with a little over 180,000 miles on it.

He opted to install it out of site / stealthy at the expense of slight vignetting from the left front shock.
(form/security over function) Looks good though! (Set it and forget it DashCam in action, see below)


"I have the cable coiled, and inside the cubby hole, so it’s not under a strain. In fact, the camera is sitting between the coils. It would still be easy for someone to open the lid, and remove the camera. The left side doesn’t lock. I could mount the lens and camera on the right side, as that lid locks. I’m still trying to decide if I’ll move it or not. Ha, decisions, decisions.

"I also inserted a piece of insulation under the pocket. You only have to remove 4 plastic reusable rivets
to get the pocket out, to string the wires through, after opening up the holes a bit."

"I put the cardboard insulation under the pocket, thinking the heat of the radiator might radiate upwards when the bike is stopped. It has 2 radiators, one on each side.
It doesn’t. The camera remains cool."

"I had just left Starbucks, and was waiting at the light to turn left. I got the green light and arrow, and started to enter the intersection when the SUV kept coming against the light. I stopped and would have been okay if he proceeded through the intersection, but he might have T boned the white vehicle on my right. This is a dangerous area. Daily, Los Posas and the 101 fwy.
I like this camcorder! Still pictures seem pretty sharp."

Response: "No, doesnt seem possible unless the forks lost all pressure and bottomed out."

*note the camera was slightly crooked, he adjusted it after this recording was reviewed, also not the lens was a bit dirty but still wanted to share these.
