I just brought the GS520 and I plan on hardwiring it. I was reading papago site and it says for the parking mode to work it has to be put in an always hot fuse. My plan was to put it on the hot to start fuse. Will parking mode mode still work on the hot to start fuse?

Hello. Congrats on your new purchase. If you are hardwiring your dashcam in order to use the motion detection feature you must use a "always hot" fuse so that there is a continual power source to your dash cam and not just when the car is powered up, "hot in start" fuse. We do recommend that you have it done by a professional to avoid any damage to your vehicle or dash cam.

If you are concerned that the dash cam will drain your battery our hardwire kit is designed to sense when your battery is running low and power off the dash cam. We do recommend that if you plan on having your dash cam sit for a prolonged period of time that you disconnect the dash cam from the power cable.

Here is a link to the hardwire kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B00QHGG6VS
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
