Hi,

Has anyone managed to get the SJ4000 2" screen version to work with xFAT?

I have firmware v1.4 and a Sandisk Ultra Plus 64GB card and a Kingston 4GB card
I can format them in the camera OK as FAT32 and they both work fine but when I format it as xFAT on my PC it says "wrong cluster size", I have tried every single cluster size when formatting it with no success on either card

thanks

To my knowledge standard windows format fat32 maximum is 32 gb and third party software is available that can configure larger SD cards to fat32.

I had a 64gb card formatted to fat32. If I recall correctly, I had to reformat it to standard 32gb fat32 before my computer could/would format it to exFAT. Even then, I felt like it was alot of tinkering.

Being that the SJ4000 doesn't support exFAT I guess it's normal that trying to use it on the camera would cause problems. Unless SJcam releases a firmware update that supports it then I guess we're stuck with FAT32.
