- More than I can review. ;)
Thank you @GearBest for providing Beelink CA1 720p Wi-Fi dash camera for review.
It is available at Gearbest here: *********************************
Conclusion: will update after tests.
PROS:
CONS: Only 72op and low bit rate, default 2 and half minutes loop only, weird .vmhx video file that is not recognized by most players, audio not playable either, very limited options in WiFi app.
***********************************
Description: It's a round ball shape. Bigger than pingpong ball but smaller than tennis ball.
720P video display
Can control the recording video via App on call phone
HD Aptina AR0230 night vision image sensor, record clearly under low light
2.4G wireless remote photoshot button
360 degree rotation
Maximum support 32GB TF card ( not included )
Loop recording saves space
Real-time data sharing via phones for monitoring timely
Parking monitoring ensures the safety of your car
Download the App "Beelink Car DVR" in Google Play / App Store
*********************************
Beelink CA1 Unboxing with sample videos: I had to upload videos to YouTube and then download video at very low sample rate since my video editors can't play the raw files with .vmhx extension.
*********************************
Package contents: 1 x BEELINK CA1 Car DVR, 1 x Sucker Cup Mount, 1 x Power Cable, 1 x Car Charger, 1 x Photoshot Button, 1 x Installation Tool, 1 x English User Manual
[Note: Mount is pretty snug but the small lock tab doesn't do anything]

Snapshot sample using WiFi App:
*********************************
Folders, files and bit rate: Due to weird video file format, even mediainfo can't read it properly.
It's around 100mb for 2 and half minute clip so I calculated it to be around 5.33 mbps which is pretty low.
File name doesn't have date time.
*********************************
Audio/Video Quality:
Audio is not there so far or at least not in the players I play it with. I'll test more players and see if I hear audio.
Video quality is not bad considering the low bit rate but it lacks detail and really not an option since there are much better dashcams in that price range.
Surprisingly, night video looks better compared to daytime.
*********************************
More coming soon...
