CPL filter

I just received the CPL filter today. I can put it on very easily because it is magnetized. I can also rotate the CPL easily when it is on the camera. However, does it show which position that I should? It will give different effect when rotating the CPL. I checked these posts and found how CPL works:

Hi.
You should watch the screen and when it removes the reflections it's in correct position, it's like polarization filter in sunglasses.

No wonder. I put it on without adjust the CPL glass. The movie clip during night time is do bad and so dark. I think I need to rotate the CPL filter and make adjustment first.
