the mount does not rotate enough to point the camera forward

Hi all, I just got my new camera and it seems awesome, but after sticking the base to the windshield I realized that the mount does not have enough of a range to have the camera pointing towards the front and the most I can do is point it towards the hood of the car and a little bit in front. The angle of my windshield is not that bad, so I guess more people have ran unto this issue... How did you guys solve this?

Thanks for replying Rayman! I managed to find the issue in the meantime: I had put the hinge into the camera slot the wrong way. Taking that out and mounting it the other way fixed the issue
