Hi guys, I have been wondering.

For the ITV-80, since the yellow wire is to be connect to a constant power and black wire to ground.
What does the ACC red wire does anyway, what is its function? Anyone knows?

ACCessory wire. Let's the unit know when the car is off or on.

So meaning this wire just let the UPC know that the car has been turn off.
It (ACC wire) will not power up the UPC if the yellow (+) wire is not connected?

You need all three wires connected to make it work.

Hi guys sorry to revive an old thread.

I have installed an ITV-80 itronics upc to my car.

I have the yellow wire on a permanent live fuse. The red on ACC and black on ground.

The settings are on 12.2v and 12 hours.

The problem I'm facing is as soon as I turn the car off the led light is flashing on the itronics supply. When the car is on the led is constant.

My question is should the unit be flashing while car is off? My dash cam turns off when I switch the car off but I would like it to stay on for parking mode.
Should the led stay on constant if the power is above 12.2v? Every time the car is on the led is constant and the dash cam is on.

Thanks.
