Format card inside camera， insert into PC， copy-paste .bin file to the card， upgrade FW， format card. Try this way.

The new release firmware was tested the longest and is the most up to date firmware. (Shipping on all cameras)

Beta firmware is all short term incremental builds. You should be ok but beta is beta

Which? All their microSD cards are EVO. Select, Plus, or something else?
