Mini 0806 generating fast forward recording

New Mini 0806, straight out of the box, one day old. Works fine most of the time, but the rest of the time it generates these 7 seconds video files which are actually multiple minute files compressed to some fast-forward format. These files are also only 20MB in size, compared to the 400MB of the other files.
Any idea why this happens?

Looks like it. But what's very strange is that I have a mix of all kinds of files on my card, from the same drive. Timelapse parts, sometimes small videos with normal speed but only 1 second long, bigger videos with normal speed recordings of a few minutes, etc etc. I disabled the G sensor so it should just record everything in loop. I don't get it....

G-Sensor is unrelated to looping, maybe start by resetting default settings and see how you go

I meant the motion detection. All the other settings are default settings. Didn't change a thing, except for date and time of course.

if they have a time lapse option then very likely I would think

I wanted to check what the logs etc look like, but the app crashes on my mac when opening the SD card ...

It was the parking guard. All works fine now!
