Video format

the file extension is MP4

MOV or MP4 are still both H.264 MPEG4 files, MOV or MP4 just designates the container used

MP4 and MOV are same container but MOV is standard for APPLE device and MP4 is international standard. So they maybe have in first firmware .mov and with new firmware they change it to .mp4

I have a A119 and i find the quality to be similar like 1080p. I'm on the newest firmware, each 2 minute video clip is about 350 mb. I right click the video file and under properties it does show 2560 x 1440p resolution at 30 fps.

I haven't really compared the two resolutions hand in hand but i'm wondering if your 2 minute clips are around 350 mb also? I have a 64 gb Sandisk Micro SD, it is class 10 so it should be able to read/write files fast enough.

1080@60, 20Mb bitrate has 1,42GB for 10min = 2min +-290MB
1440p 23,8Mb bitrate has 1,68GB for 10min = 2min +-340MB

Thanks good to know that my SD is not acting up.
