the clip on one is pre adjusted, the adhesive one you would need to check and align correctly, the adhesive one just uses a cheap plastic film though, it's not a glass lens so some distortion is expected
There did it at factory and sealed the lens.There is a slot on top and bottom of the clip, I thought it was for adjusting the polarization focus.

the slot is for installing the lens, it has been rotated into the correct position already, no need to adjust it any further

if you have a vehicle where the dashboard lights, radio etc show up reflected in the windscreen then it will also work for that as well so there are still reasons to leave the filter on at night
