Rexing V1 to record when powered off?

Hi,
New here but very interested in this topic.
So here is my story, I have a 2016 Chevy Colorado WT. I hardwired the dashcam to my cig lighter and it works, records and performs great. It is always on when i unlock the truck, drive it and stays on even after i park it and turn it off but dont open the door. It has about 10-15 seconds life after i open the door and it shuts off.

How do i make it record in case someone backs up in my truck while parked?

Any help is appreciated.

would require a permanent power source, permanently powering a camera with a battery inside is not advisable though, wrong tool for the job

So, exactly 10 days after i posted this someone backed into my truck right outside my house at night.
I understand why permanent power source inside he truck is not a good idea, due to heat and possibility of fire. But isnt there any way the dashcam can catch the moment of the incident when my truck is parked and powered off?
