Will the 807 fit in the windshield mount of an 806?

I'm tired of the batteries in my 806 and want to get an 807 for the capacitor. Can I just get an 807 and slide it in the 806's mount?

Has anyone tried replacing the 806 batteries with a capacitor?

The Mini 0806 and 0807 mountings are different - neither will work in the other

Somehow both of my Mini 0807's use Micro USB's at the GPS mount and on the top of the camera - was a change made on the newer Mini 0807's?
