opening it up?

Anyone managed to open the camera up without damaging it too much?

the "base" is easy to open. It has screws.

It houses the GPS module. So... maybe if I trash the module in a way that still sends power i might be able to silence the GPS online chinese voice on my other thread

but still no luck trying to open the camera itself.

Even the smallest razor cannot enter the side of it to pry it open without much damage to the case.

housings generally clip together so a bit of a squeeze around the edge where it joins is needed to open a gap, a spudger might be needed to give it a nudge, don't use a razor as you'll only damage the plastic, an old credit card might work if you don't have a suitable tool

i tried the plastic separator i have. it is VERY tight. I can't see where to start to pry it open anywhere.

I haven't had a look at this model sorry so can't offer any tips
