Registrator Viewer Crashing

Anyone else having problems with Registrator Viewer? Every time I load a .MOV file into it and then click on the file name the program crashes. I have tried several different .MOV files and they are all doing it. Running w/10 and Viewer version 6.0. I have not had this issue in the past with it.

Windows 10 (w/10)

It looks like a windows update has messed the codecs.

flip9, Thanks for the link. I installed the K-Lite Codec Pack and that seems to have resolved my issues. Yes, I believe a w/10 update was the cause of the problem.
I am now able to trim and merge clips together.

Your welcome, i have found the issue and it is indeed a windows update. An update last Tuesday broke the MPEG2/DVD libraries and Microsoft is aware of the issues.

Well this is strange, I just tried the viewer on my w/10 laptop and seems to work ok. Just checked and my laptop does have the KB4013429 Cumulative Update installed.

To solve the problem - get a Mac!
May not be the cheapest solution but, at the end of the day, and in the long run, you only get what you pay for.
