GPS on registrator viewer

Hello everyone, newbie on Dashcamtalk here.
I just installed the new V2.02 (http://support.viofo.com/support/solutions/articles/19000019600-viofo-a119-car-dash-camera-firmware) firmware which claims to fix the GPS logging access on Registrator Viewer.
I updated the firmware and did a factory reset. GPS is on but I disabled GPS on video timestamp with speed timestamp set to "on".
Speed appears on video which proves that GPS is working but still no tagging on Registrator viewer.
Am I missing a setting?

no, you're misreading, it fixes a GPS issue with Dashcam Viewer, not Registrator Viewer, different software
