Just bought, DR650S 2CH with PMP and wondering how to hardwire it in VW Golf mk5. 12V+ and GND will not be such a problem, but where to find constant 12v for parking mode?

Check your instruction manual's fuse list. Use for example the horn fuse.

The best way in a VW is to use some of the blanks in the fuse box. I have done them in a 6R Polo and a B7 Passat and have in each case used spare fuse slots. They seem to have a few of these and if you meter them out you will find what you want. Due to the complicated electronics it is best not to hook into just any circuit as it may not like it much.

U can use adda fuses which have a wire attached and easy to use. Whatever you do DO NOT jamb wires down the sides of existing fuses. A recipe for disaster if ever I saw one.
