Cutting Video Clips on Android App

Here is my first post and its to do with the App. Most videos I've seen on the M6+ shows a neat way of cutting clips from the video. It incorporate a scissor icon and a split time line. Well I'm wondering if this is only on the Apple IoS as the Android version definitely doesn't (or no longer) has this feature. You now have to identify the piece of footage, magnify timeline, playback and select download for the duration required. Is this what everyone else is experiencing or is my app the wrong one?
