We'd love the comunities thoughts on our new idea to help all drivers

Good morning everyone, we'd love your feedback on our new idea www.DashCamShare.Com to help make the most of our DashCams and make our roads a safer place.

In its simplest form DashCamShare.com is a cross between YouTube and Google Maps and allows anyone to upload, search or share video footage that could help to provide evidence for insurance claims or highlight dangers on our roads. DashCamShare.com is the first site of its kind to allow the sharing of video information based on time, date and location. This allows total strangers to act as a community and provide valuable information when it’s needed most.


Working together we can make our roads safer and highlight dangers or scams which cause higher premiums for all of us. Our long term vision is to change the way we behave on our roads and redefine how we think about road safety in order to act as a community, not just as individuals.

Comroads? We haven't seen this one before, do you have the link and we'll take a look. I've tried to google it but I can't see anything in the results.

Thanks. Definite similarities and despite all our searching before making ours we never found this. We've even spoken to quite a few people in the insurance industry and they never mentioned this so I'm not sure how well used or well known the site is.

At least there are other people trying to make a positive contribution to this area.

They've been around for a few years already, they used to run under some other name previously, road shamers or something along those lines, can't recall exactly

Looks promising. I like the functionality of your website, that you also integrate Maps and YouTube with decent location search and the proposition feels good.

And don't worry if there are other offerings (I never heard of comroads or the other one either,), after all we don't all shop at the same supermarket and before Google there was Altavista and before Facebook, MySpace!
