I agree in principle, but meanwhile I have no choice but to drive a real car in the real world. By the time every dangerous and arrogant driver is taken out of the equation, both myself and my car will be dust.I am not too happy about the term "driving defensively", to me that imply that a person will have to make a effort out of the ordinary in traffic, and really the good law abiding driver should not need to be doing so.
People should drive like the law say, and the law should not mention defensive driving, and the people chat cant do that will need to be taken out of the equation.
The only way it can happen, in my opinion, is via the widespread implementation of driverless cars. Not much fun, but lot safer. Allegedly...
