July 2017 thinking: A119s vs SG9665GC V3

What is today's thinking on these two dashcams?

This question was asked once before the SG V3 was available here: https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/threads/a119s-or-sg9665gc-v3-2017.26172/

Since then, I've seen comparisons/discussions on the A119S vs SG V2, A118C vs A119 vs A119S, etc but no recent discussion/comparison (more just specific issues/discussion on one or the other).

Pricing seems to have closed: $150 for the A119S (add in a 32GB SDHC and the CPL) vs $200 on the SG V3.
My need is to support my teen-driver...sad reality is most adult driver try to intimidate/blame the kid, even when the kid is in the right (experienced already

i would not hesitate to buy my A119 all over again. it's been my favorite since i started using it a year ago.

Comes down to budget.

I'm very happy with the A119S. I have 5x (one in each car including my business vehicles)
