Wipers not reaching upto dashcam position

I have installed Viofo A118C in my Honda Civic, currently, they are installed behind rear view mirror.
Civic is having scissor wiper action, and due to which they do not wipe area near RVM (I have marked wiper clean zone in the following image). Due to this in rainy season dashcam recording is completely useless.

What year Civic is it? I have a UK spec 2007 8th Gen and can get the A118C behind the mirror whilst covered by the wipers. The only thing I had to do different was to get the longer auto wiper size drivers side wiper compared to the standard one. These images shows the camera from inside the car and from the outside (sorry the image is poor - my phone likes the reflections on the glass a little too much but the camera can just be made out). I took the inside image at approximately head height as I sit in the car (I do like to sit upright).
