Formatting camera damage

Can trying to format a non thinkware sd card in my F770 cause any damage to either card or camera, I tried before with a non thinkware card but now have a few others inc a 200GB sandisk to try, they're not mine hence my asking as I pay for it if I break it!!

shouldn't do any permanent damage to either, some cards can go into read only mode when they have errors though so that's something to be aware of, long odds of the 200GB card working properly in the Thinkware though

Formatting a card isn't going to break it.

Using a TLC NAND card in a dash cam likely will kill the card in time due to heat, particularly if you park outside in full sunshine with parking mode enabled. I've so far killed two TLC cards and won't waste money on another.
